About Rob

Rob has spent the majority of his career working on complex projects that require extensive experience in high ropes and confined spaces. He has worked on domestic and international projects, both onshore and offshore.

Rob is the HTS specialist when it comes to ropes access, rigging, NDT, painting and coatings and restricted access. He has managed large teams, supervised and conducted complex works and liaised with clients to ensure project parameters are met.

Outside of a committed career, Rob is an active skydiver and surfer who has his own clothing brand.

Responsibilities

Rob is responsible for the daily supervision and reporting of works including prestart meetings and safety inspections. Rob ensures that works are co-ordinated and governance is in place to ensure safety and quality are met. In addition to Rob’s daily tasking he is also a specialist supervisor for the following activities:

• Supervision of all Working at Heights works including advanced rigging and rope access or working platforms

• Testing, inspection and certification of all paints and coatings as well as surface preparations and applicaitons

• High access painting, NDT (non-destructive testing), inspections, cleaning, sand blasting

• Complex rigging including trolley lines, process plant maintenance and repair, dual lifts, airbags

• Installation of Acoustic walls

• Heavy forklift operations including wide laods (13m @ 10t)
