About Blake
Blake is an experienced senior plumbing supervisor with extensive remote infrastructure and commercial project experience. He has overall responsibility for the delivery of plumbing works, whilst also managing various other project requirements, including tracking and reporting progress -v- budget and coordination of manning levels to ensure integration with other trades.
Blake’s role also provides technical and logistical support to sub-contractors, as well as liaising with engineers as part of the design process from site, for submission to the client.

Involvement on a range of projects on a remote Pacific Island.
Construction and maintenance of remote facilities including staff accommodation, resident accommodation and supporting infrastructure. Works valued at $160 million AUD.
Construction and ongoing maintenance of a new hospital (surgery, paediatrics, imaging, in and outpatient facilities, pathology, treatment clinics);
Construction of local community infrastructure; new school, community centre, corrections facility, RO plants and sea water pump for island’s water supply.
Responsibilities
Blake is responsible for all site-based contact for the design, estimating and procurement of materials for the HTS Constructions plumbing department. Whilst ensuring safety and quality are at the forefront of his focus, he is required to have a clear understanding of the scope of works, budget and program whilst maintaining a high standard of company culture and work ethics. In particular, Blake is required to:
Ensure all plumbing works comply with Australian and international standards;
Coordination of direct staff and subcontractors, labour, plant and material deliveries to site;
Ability to understand and assist updating of construction programs and developing a 4-week look ahead;
Complete understanding of scope of works to identify variations and TQs;
Assist with raising TQs, Variations and Notice of Delays;
Site Management duties including the implementation of project specific Management Plans; HSE, QA etc;
Record, manage and document all changes of design and ensure engineering sign off; and
Completion of all QA site inspections with client representatives and management of quality documentation; ITPs and check sheets.
