HTS Constructions Named Among Australia's Fastest Growing Companies

HTS Constructions placed fifth on the AFR Fast 100 for 2024, after revenue grew from $28.7 million to $79.4 million in FY24.

HTS Constructions has been named fifth on the Australian Financial Review's Fast 100 list for 2024, following a year of exceptional growth. Revenue climbed from $28.7 million to $79.4 million in FY24, a compound annual growth rate of 228 per cent.

Speaking to the AFR, managing director Cris Rielly put the result down to a simple philosophy: building genuine, long-term partnerships with clients rather than a purely transactional approach.

“Once we get a client, we never lose them,” Rielly said.

That approach has seen HTS grow alongside major clients such as Newmont, Iluka Resources and CBH, taking on larger and more complex scopes of work as trust has built over time. A project for Newmont in the Tanami Desert is a good example. What began as an accommodation village expansion has since grown to include a bulk materials storage dome, electrical infrastructure, and major water infrastructure works.

The AFR feature also traces HTS back to its founding in 2017, when three tradesmen with backgrounds in the Navy, the Army and remote infrastructure work set out to challenge the traditional subcontractor model. Their idea was to bring every trade and discipline in-house under one team, an approach that remains central to how HTS operates today.

With a three-year target of $200 million in turnover by 2027 and an expanding footprint across the Pacific, the recognition marks another milestone in that story.
