Refurbishment of Modular Buildings

This project involved the refurbishment of modular buildings in Yatala, QLD and the transportation of over 150 buildings to central Australia.

Facility Description

The facilities included accommodation modules, kitchen / diner, gym buildings, ablution blocks, recreation facilities, administration buildings, specialist equipment and building materials.

Works Completed

HTS was responsible for receiving the buildings and completing refurbishment and improvement works to ready the buildings for transport. Once completed, the buildings were strapped and packed for transport, loaded onto trucks and transported over 3,000km to site along some of the worst maintained roads in Australia (Tanami Track). During all stages of the works, building condition and works were recorded.
