Duration: 2 Months
Type: Modular Construction
Contract: Installation
Facility Description: The project included works on CBH facilities at 4 locations, Varley, Pingrup, Kellerberrin and Dulyalbin. All locations were improvements to CBH facilities to improve worker accommodation and facilities. These sites had been a part of an earlier project.
Works Completed: HTS was required to mobilise to each site and install additional facilities that included common rooms, offices and crib facilities. Each site was unique and required inground services, foundation preparations, concrete, veranda install and local detailed earthworks.

The works included site preparations, the installation of submains and Main Switch Board, new sewage pump station, septic and leach drain system, building foundations, installation of accommodation and amenities, concrete verandas and weather protection, testing, commissioning and preparations for occupation.
HTS was able to provide a single contractor and point of contact for all electrical, plumbing and building works.

HTS was contracted by CDM to provide refurbishment works for previously used accommodation and amenities modules to be used in the future. The works included internal fit out and rectification of punch list works, electrical compliance including replacement of switchboards and wiring, replacement of plumbing fittings and repair of transit damage.
These works combined multiple trades under a single contractor allowing flexibility, efficiency and an accelerated program with no lost time.

The works included mobilisation and preparation of the site including building foundations before landing the modules and complexing the structure. Once completed HTS connected the building to the existing services and ensured the building was safe and met Australian Standards. The building was then commissioned, cleaned and made ready for the new occupants.
A great job and very happy to be apart of the works.
